A big shout out to Assistant Fire Chief Adam Avery and FF with La Conner Fire Department for visiting our elementary school during Fire Prevention Week! This annual event plays a crucial role in teaching children about fire safety and prevention, helping them develop lifelong habits that can protect themselves and their families.
Our students had an exciting, hands-on experience exploring fire gear, seeing the shiny red fire truck up close, and asking lots of great questions. They were encouraged to take what they learned home and work with their families to create a fire safety plan, reinforcing the importance of being prepared in case of an emergency.
We greatly appreciate the fire department’s dedication to keeping our community safe!
