The fund balance projection is currently about $500,000 less than expected due to recovery from the Impact Aid Monitoring Review (once every five years). We are currently working with the Impact Aid reviewers/auditors as there appear to be some miscalculations and miscounts based on the results of the Monitoring Review. There are some unprecedented factors under review as La Conner School District opted to use the Supplemental Impact Aid Flexibility Act/Impact Aid Coronavirus Relief Act for the 2022 and 2023 applications. The School Years (SY) under Impact Aid Monitoring Review are 2019-2022.
