We want our schools to be the safest place possible for our children.  Thank you for volunteering in our schools!

The students and staff of the La Conner School District thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer.  It takes an exceptional person to give their time and energy to help make our schools stronger.  Your involvement brings extra time and personal contact to our students and teachers which is vital to academic success.  You are giving students the powerful message that people care about them.

Volunteering provides an opportunity to enrich and serve the community.  Sharing your talents and skills is a wonderful way to support the students in our district.  You may work with children of all ages and abilities and in a variety of areas from working with students in the classroom, assisting with clerical tasks, or helping on the playground.  Volunteer opportunities cover a wide array of activities.  As a volunteer, you have the satisfaction of knowing that you are making a difference!

To volunteer in a specific building, please contact the administrative assistant and/or the building principal.  As a potential volunteer, you will be asked to complete a volunteer background check form.  The volunteer forms can be dropped off at any of our schools or the District office.  To find out more about volunteering, please call 360-466-3171.
