The LCSD staff kicked off the school year yesterday with in-service training. The day started with a welcome breakfast, during which Interim Superintendent David Cram and Director of Teaching and Learning Beth Clothier gave a brief presentation and introduced ten new staff members.
All the staff boarded school buses to visit the SITC to extend and enrich our partnership. Many thanks to Michael Vendiola and his team for organizing our staff's informative morning and the beautiful Canoe Family performance.
Our final stop was a visit to Pioneer Park to connect with community members who shared valuable resources available in our community, setting the stage for an incredible year ahead. We appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedules to connect with staff to support our district: Mayor Marna Hanneman, Joy Neal, Mary Woleb, Marylee Chamberlain, Jean Markert, Ellie Cross, Wendy Poulton, Jodi Jorgensen, Patsy Good, Sgt Brad Holmes, and Char Derrick.
