The La Conner Braves have kicked off their fall sports season with impressive performances across soccer, volleyball, and football. Our student-athletes are making their mark with early victories and standout individual achievements.

Girls’ Soccer:
The La Conner Lady Braves dominated in a non-league game against the Muckleshoot Kings, winning 11-0. Maicy Bowles and Baylee Smith led the team, each scoring three goals. Finley Hancock, Lydia Grossglass, Lily Dougliss, Angie Pena, and Iris Turner added to the scoreboard with one goal each.

The momentum continued with another victory, defeating Forest Ridge 11-2, bringing their season record to 2-0.

Boys’ Soccer:
In a thrilling non-league match against Crosspoint Academy, the La Conner Braves ended the game in a 1-1 tie. Christian Fox scored for La Conner with a perfectly executed free kick.

Volleyball:
The La Conner Braves Volleyball team triumphed over Blaine Borderites in a nonconference match, winning 3-1 with set scores of 25-22, 16-25, 25-22, and 26-24. Key Performances:

  • McCormick: 7 kills, 5 blocks, 20 digs, 10 assists

  • Maeve McCormick: 4 kills, 2 blocks, 28 digs

  • Keller: 2 aces, 44 digs

  • Poulton: 9 kills, 3 aces, 4 blocks

  • Bird: 8 kills, 28 digs, 17 assists, 1 ace, 1 block
